Jazz Summer Camp at Adisadel
Wednesday, September 3, 2008 - The Summer Music Camp went extremely
well. It was held during August 11-21. There were 12 students musicians in the
camp. The activities were highly structured - theory of music during the day,
rehearsals in the afternoon and evenings. Weekends were included. A visit to the
camp on a Sunday showed a very busy atmosphere. Four professional jazz musicians
from Accra spent three days on campus with the musicians. It was a thrill. The
guys are composing and playing their own jazz tracks. We are looking to a
November launch. Pictures taken during the camp will soon be made available.
Please keep the Adisadel Jazz Project and the
Endowment Fund for Music Education on your screens.
