MEETING DAYS

Description:
AGCM/CHARIS is a Christian foundational denomination which endeavors in the field of spirituality, that is, pertaining to the will of God. AGCM/CHARIS has been a denomination in Adisadel College for over ten (10) years and still counting. The main driving force for the denomination was for only Assemblies of God churches but later, it was noticed that churches like ICGC, Winner’s Chapel, and other charismatic churches were coming for meetings always. We have been able to desist from being a self-centered body and focus on Christ as the head. Anyone is welcome to AGCM/CHARIS, every soul is welcome, and no soul will be pursued for leaving.
“Our Mission”
Our Agenda is to create a coffined domain or abode that will help men be spiritually upright and well sustained, that men may know stay the presence of God.
“Our Vision”
Is to make men who can stand for God and not be moved by any wind of temptation, depression, destruction, or trouble. To create knowledgeable men, that such men will proclaim the light of men that is Jesus Christ; (John 1:3-5)

THE CHURCH OF CHRIST STUDENT UNION(CoCSU)
Motto: THE ROYALS, WINNING SOULS FOR CHRIST
Members of the church of Christ student union say it is unique among all others in the college since unique means “the only one of its kind”. It is neither a denomination nor a group of denominations but simply “the body of Christ” (Ephesians 5:23, Colossians 1:18) and “the only one true church in the Bible” (Romans 16:16, Mattew 16:18). Making the claim proves nothing, so let’s test the hypothesis by looking at few things that justifies the uniqueness of the church.
They include:
- Teachings and Sermon (Acts 20:7, Acts 2:42)
- Songs (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16, Hebrews 2:12)
- Prayer (Matthew 6:5-14, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 1Timothy 2:8, Acts 12:5, James 5:13-16, Colossians 11:26)
- Lord’s Supper (Matthew 26:26, Acts 20:7, John 6:45-58, 1Corithians 11:26)
- Giving (1Corithians16:1-2, 2Corithians 8:5; 9:6-8; 8:6-7, Luke 6:38)
- Evangelism (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:18-20)
- Baptism (Acts 22:16; 2:36, Matthew 28:18-20)
The very first Five (5) are termed as acts of Worship (i.e., The appropriate and acceptable procedures believers are to follow in the worship of God). And the last two (6:7) are responsibilities Christ assigned to anyone who claims to be a “disciple” (Luke 14:26-27) of Him. Except for the above mentioned, Church of Christ members prove to speak when the bible speaks (1Peters 4:11) and rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). We also believe that there are doctrines in the scriptures that must be taught among both believers and non-believers (Titus 2:1) just scriptures that must be taught and commissioned us rather than to suit our own desires (2 Timothy 4:3).
