The refurbishment of the Adisadel College library has been very beneficial to students, teachers, and the college as a whole.
Upon entering the library, students are greeted by a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The library provides a very quiet and convenient place, which makes reading very effective, with the ceiling fans and bright lights working to make the place comfortable. The shelves are lined with a vast collection of books, covering a wide range of subjects, genres, and interests. From classic literature to contemporary novels, from scientific textbooks to historical accounts, the library offers a treasure trove of resources that cater to the diverse interests and academic pursuits of students.
The librarian and the library prefects also plays a crucial role in school library, serving as guides and facilitators of knowledge. With their expertise in information literacy, they assist students in conducting research, honing their skills in finding credible sources, and navigating databases. The librarian and the library prefects also curate collections that align with the school’s curriculum and students’ interests, ensuring that the library remains a valuable resource for both academic and personal growth.
The library is more than just collections of books. There are vibrant spaces that foster a love for reading, provide access to a wealth of knowledge, and support students’ academic and personal growth. With their diverse resources, knowledgeable staff, and inviting environments, the library play a vital role in cultivating a culture of learning, curiosity, and intellectual exploration within the school community.
It is not surprising that patronage has increased since the completion of the refurbishment. The refurbishment of the college’s library has been very beneficial, and we would like to say a big “Thank you” to the Adisadel Old Boys Association – North America (AOBA) for this wonderful project. God richly bless you.
