Adisadel College is administered by the School Management Team, which is made up of an administrative staff that consists of the Headmaster, Assistant Headmasters, and Senior Housemasters. The School Management Team supervises the general administration of the school and defines the scope of the school’s efforts to offer the best education and character training to the students.
The Headmaster
Just as in every institution there is one person who is the highest-ranking employee, one who reports to the Board of Directors and whose core responsibilities include setting and executing the institution’s strategy, allocating capital, and building and overseeing the executive team as well as seeing to the smooth running of it, in Adisadel College we have a great man who has taken upon his shoulders the burden of the school, taking overall responsibility for the management of the school’s program of teaching and research and the implementation of the College’s academic policies, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards. Mr. Samuel Kofi Agudogu is the Headmaster and, more importantly, the CEO of the prestigious Adisadel College.
Mr. Samuel Kofi Agudogo
The headmaster, Mr. Samuel Kofi Agudogo, is an alumnus and member of the class of 1988. He started his secondary education at Adisadel College in 1983. He completed his general certificate of education at the O’ and A’ levels in 1988 and 1990, respectively, and then continued to the University of Cape Coast, where he graduated with a BSc (honors) in Chemistry and a Diploma in Education in 1997, an MSc degree in Science Education (2013), and an MEd degree in Educational Administration (2016). In addition, Samuel has received numerous awards and citations for his participation in multiple seminars aimed at improving the quality of education and educational instruction. Samuel is the current national president of the Ghana Association of Science Teachers, a position he has held since 2018. Prior to his appointment to Adisadel College as the substantive headmaster, Samuel successfully completed assignments as the assistant headmaster of University Practice SHS (2018–2021), the head of the science, mathematics, PE, and ICT departments (2015–2018), and the head of chemistry (2008–2015) at Wesley Girls SHS. He has been the recipient of numerous teaching awards, such as the “Best Teacher” award, the “Best Cape Coast Metro Science Teacher” award, and numerous other awards for his excellent work as an educator and administrator, and he has participated in various local and international seminars aimed at improving teaching standards in the country.
